The AMBULO is an extremely robust all-rounder. The knife can be used for both fine and hard work. Even though it is at home in the outdoor & bushcraft sector, it can also be used for conventional everyday purposes.

The AMBULO is a full-tang knife. This means that it is made from one continuous piece of steel. The type of steel used is D2. All this ensures that the AMBULO is extremely robust. Occasional chopping and batoning is no problem with the AMBULO. In the long term, however, axes and hatchets are more suitable, also because less force is required.

The Kydex sheath is supplied with Teklok and belt loop. With the TekLok, you can attach the knife to your belt or the Molle of your rucksack, for example. The Belt-Loop allows you to carry it hanging from your belt.

The firesteel should be used with the back of the blade of the knife or a special firesteel scriber. This is the best way to guarantee flying sparks. Models without a coating, such as our satin version, are the easiest way to ensure flying sparks. With coated blades, such as our stonewash option, the effort is only slightly greater.

The AMBULO has a flat grind. A flat grind is a good all-rounder that is also ideal for tougher work.
