The W machete is the perfect choice when it comes to tough applications such as chopping, splitting or cutting through. The robust design paired with the use of D2 steel ensures that demanding operations are effortless.

One of the biggest advantages of D2 steel is its high edge retention. This ensures excellent sharpness even after intensive and regular use. Resharpening the blade is also uncomplicated.

A fire steel should always be used with a blade back or a special fire steel scriber. This is the best way to guarantee flying sparks. Models without a coating, such as our satin version, are the easiest way to ensure flying sparks. With coated blades, such as our stonewash option, the effort is only slightly greater.

The W Machete comes with a TPE textured handle with finger grooves. It also has a jimping on the back of the blade. The machete is also perfectly balanced. All these points ensure even safer use.

The blade of the W machete has two different grinds. The small part directly behind the handle is particularly suitable for finer work. It can also be used for carving work, for example. The larger flat grind at the front is intended for hard applications such as chopping and splitting.
